Your conscious mind cannot think of more than one thing at a time. If you let your mind think about winning or losing, you are using up valuable memory space. Playing in the zone requires your mind to focus on making good decisions all the time. Any other thought that enters your mind will definitely lead to bad decisions. It takes a lot of time and effort to stay in the zone. Remove your attachment to winning or losing and you will be a step ahead of most players.
